Kaiju No. 8 has just aired/streamed the finale for its very first season. A first season that received rave reviews and acclaim from critics and audiences alike. All that means that a sequel is very likely to happen in the future. Fortunately, we don’t have to wonder about that anymore, since it’s apparently in the pipe and on the way. Don’t believe me? Then why not check out the official teaser on YouTube below, and see for yourself just how hyped you can get for this upcoming second season?
Kaiju No. 8: Sequel Details
Crunchyroll and Production I.G are proud to announce that Kaiju No. 8 season 2 has just begun production. The announcement happened right after the finale of season 1 on June 29, 2024; so you know that the hype is real here.
Alas though, the announcement is the only actual bit of information here. Crunchyroll does mention that they plan to stream Kaiju No. 8 season 2 when it airs. However, the “when” part is the issue. Crunchyroll simply does not have that info and plans to announce that date at a later time. To be fair, though, production only just began. It would make sense that they don’t have that info yet. We’ll just have to be patient. In the meantime, though, you can catch up on the complete first season (consisting of 12 episodes) of the anime on Crunchyroll.
Bonus: Key Visual and English Dub News
That’s not all, folks! Crunchyroll is also eager to announce that they will soon be streaming the English dub of the finale of Kaiju No. 8. That English dub will be available to stream on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Of course though, it will be a Crunchyroll exclusive, so you will need a subscription there to watch that English dub.
